I centred this design around a clipart couple (that look somewhat like my wedded friends I might add) that I found and cut out. There is lace sewn onto the card in the background and lace for the veil.
Inside the card I added 1 Timothy 4:12 with distressed (ripped) edges and exposed lace edge from the front.
The finished card is simple and striking in black and cream.
My next wedding card was based on a favourite facebook photo of the couple that I traced around to get a silhouette then cut out. The background is material sewed on to the card and the wording is the font Kunstler that has also been cut out by hand. I made this fun with pink and white ribbon. Perhaps a bit too pink but it is a fun card.
Inside I added 2 Corinthians 13:14 with white ribbon carrying the pink through.
Included a handmade envelope, prescoring the edges for easy folding (as the card would be quite thick) and love the colour coordinating on the inside flap.
